Kinara is a Swahili term for candle/ candle stick. We chose this name because, sometimes in life, we need someone to hold a light for us when our path is dark. We welcome everyone in our community and shine a light wherever we can!

Whether you need community hours, volunteering opportunities, support with housing or employment, Kinara is here for you. If you would also like to connect and share your skills to better our community, please get in touch! We primarily focus supporting people who are unhoused or at risk of facing homelessness through Case management and community support.
